i received a voicemail stating "this message is to inform (myself) that you have a confidential matter pending to be filed against you within the next 24-48 hours. To make your statement against this claim which could result into further proceedings, you must contact Greg Fitzgerald @773-269-3085, reference your case #, for immediate assistance please press 1." I then called back and said i wanted to find out why i received this call and who i had supposedly owed money to. The man that answered said it was a payday company that i had gotten a loan from back in 2010 and that my debt amount was $400.00 and asked how i wanted to settle. I asked what a settlement amount would look like and he stated $200.00. I asked that he call me back when i got to my office (so i could do some research). I then googled Greg Fitzgerald & USS Mediation (when i called the # initially it said the company was USS MEDIATION). I called back again and stated i wanted a validation notice and they emailed me a "verification of debt" via e-sign live. The company listed on the notice was not USS Mediation but Integrity Financial, LLC. I looked up the company and couldn’t find one with that exact name. I then googled the address listed on the form and could not find a business at the address listed. i googled the phone numbers and only saw complaints from people being harassed by someone calling from several of the numbers. According to the notice, "they type of debt" listed is Mesa Financial which i also googled and saw people saying it was a scam. I then received two voice mails after receiving the notice giving me another phone number to call back. Also the debt amount on the notice i received was not the same as the debt amount i was told over the phone.
