Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received a priority envelope I opened it there was a cashiers check in the amount of $2400.25 with a note attached saying "This note is to remind you to confirm with us that you have received the checks. Before depositing your check please text (469) 283- 8356 and disclose your check number and full name.
I looked up the name of bank drawn on MSU Federal credit Union Murray Kentucky called them and they said it was a scam.
