I believe the call was a person trying to get me to say "yes". They said I won a prize trip to Florida then just needed a couple quick answers before they transferred me to a travel agent.

They then asked 2 questions needing only yes or no answers. 1st was am I over 18, next was do I make more than $45,000.

Since I did not respond directly, they she complained of having "trouble with her headset" and asked the questions again. When i asked a question back, she hung up.

Said that I had stayed at one of there hotels previously and won a huge discount for vacation. Initially said having trouble with headset and asked if I could hear her. Call came from local number is the only reason I answered. Tried calling number back, phone rings and rings with no answer then ends with busy signal.

A woman’s voice identifying itself as Emily began the call as if it was having trouble with its headset, then apologized. It said I had stayed at "one of their resorts" previously and had won a trip back. At this point, I had tried replying, then hung up when I realized it was a recording. I was surprised with this one–the woman who was recorded for this scam sounded believable at first. Because of how soon I hung up, I’m not sure if they were trying to get my credit card number or one of the more recent scam approaches of trying to get me to say "yes."

Ladies voice asked if I could hear her. I said yes. She said she dropped her headset then went into a litany about me winning a free trip. I thought I was listening to someone live until a I said this is a scam right? The voice at the other end repeated itself. So I said NO and the phone went dead
