Type of a scam Tech Support
Received a phone call Daniel Parker, ****. He left a message that I was going to be charged $399.00 within 24 hours for Anti-Virus software. I must call 203-544-4142 and ask to cancel and ask for a refund within 24 hours or be charged for the software. I never heard of the software, so I called him, expecting it to be a scam. He answered and ask me to open up Chrome and bring up "quickk.support". I acted like I was doing it, then told him I was not and it was a scam. He cursed at me and I hung up. I then proceeded to block all numbers associated with him. The app he wanted me to bring up was a remote software program to hack into my computer. I wasn’t falling for that. Hopefully, he will not be able to charge me for the software that I am not using.
