Type of a scam Online Purchase
I made contact with Walker Boston Terriers thru their ad on the internet. I respond by internet that I was interested in purchasing a puppy. I agreed to the price and then they tried to add $150 fee for shipping. I refused and they agreed to pay all shipping costs and my only charge would be for the cost of the puppy, $500. I wired the $500 thru Western Union to an individual name and not the company (a red flag I ignored). I next heard from the shipping company requesting $1,090. for insurance to ship the puppy. I refused to pay this. I contacted the breeder by e-mail. He said he did not have the money and refused. I canceled the transaction and ask for my $500 back. I have not heard from him. He refuses to answer my e-mails or telephone calls. I want the actual Walker Boston Terriers to be aware of this scam. I think the scammer cloned the actual site and started dealing with me directly or I would have been sending money to Walker Boston Terriers and not an individual.
