Type of a scam Online Purchase
My husband and I lost not one but both of our dogs last year within a month of each other. Fast forward to just a few weeks ago, we decided that we were ready to bring in a new fur baby or two back into our family and agreed that we liked corgis. After searching locally with no luck, we went online and found www.welshlycorgi.com. The picture of “Cooper” sold me immediately. We contacted them, eager to have Cooper and perhaps one of his brother’s sent to us. Then they asked for payment: PayPay or gift card. Well, that was that. Thankfully, the amount they requested for 2 pups exceeded what PayPal allowed for some reason, and no money was lost. What’s funny is that I was just browsing through some guy’s Instagram and saw the SAME PICTURE the scammer used on www.welshlycorgi.com! I wish there was a way to rid the internet (and world for that matter) of scammers like this who prey on the public with no remorse.
