I applied to a company that called itself White Water Adventurers, INC. I sent them my resume and expressed my interest. I even emailed the company at [email protected] to make sure it was a legitimate ad. However, I think whoever ran this ad on Indeed.com has possibly hacked into this company’s website. My first suspicion that this was a bogus ad was too high rate of pay for a high school graduate with little or no experience. My second red flag is the ad had a misspelling in it. Here is a copy of the original ad as well as *Robert’s* first response. Notice even though I sent him my resume, the letter addresses me as "Applicant." I believe White Water Adventurers, Inc. is a real company but whoever this is — appears to be impersonating the CEO of a legitimate company. Why would a rafting company in Pennsylvania be branching out to Missouri when they don’t offer river rafting in Missouri? By the way, this ad was sponsored by Indeed.com which is why I trusted it more but I should not have. In addition the original ad offered 15 or 16 per hour and then the offer for $510 for 3 days a week would make it $34.00 per hour. More red flags. I think the scammer copied information about the real Robert & Shirley from the company’s website. I feel like a fool for even sending my resume to *Robert* in the first place.

Receptionist

We are seeking to hire an experienced Receptionist to join our team for providing exemptional service to our clients all over the States. Any Candidate interested in the position as a Receptionist will showcase a good work ethics and be a team player.

The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED (or is a current student in good academic standing)

Responsibilities

* Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions visitors have

* Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner

* Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times

* Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer

* Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received

* Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
