Type of a scam Tech Support

I received a call from a man with a foreign accent, Middle East perhaps, who identified himself as a representative of Windows online services and proceeded to tell me I had a problem with the online system, and that activity had been detected on my computer indicating I had downloaded something. Of course, he talked so fast that I could only understand every few words. He had my name and address, which was upsetting to me, but of course, that’s available everywhere, and he was just phishing. The caller ID on my phone showed that the call was from Kevin Morgan at 440-236-6385. At first I told him I would run a virus scan, but he assured me that only he could fix my computer. When I said I would take it to a local service technician, again he said they could not fix the problem. Finally, I just hung up the phone. I immediately checked BBB and noticed a similar scam.
