I had a scam call from Windows Security Department on July 5, saying that they were going to shut off my computer if I did not call 1-844-280-8799. I did not make the call. My computer is still working. The organization called my phone number from 855-534-4950.

I got a call from "Windows Security Department" telling me my computer had been compromised 9 times in the past hour and that my e-mail had been compromised as well. The caller had an Indian dialect and the caller id was from 0-151-224-8321. The Caller identified himself as Sean Wilson #43 when I insisted he identify himself. He wanted me to go to my computer and give him remote access so that he could resolve the problem. I hung up and have received several calls the next day from various unassigned phone numbers and unknown numbers.
