Type of a scam Tech Support
A person claiming to be from *** ** *** *** called my phone telling me that i had some sort of virus on my phone. he asked me to walk to my computer and do some things. upon realizing that he wanted to have remote access to my computer, I told him no. I did not know him and was not interested in having him have remote access to my computer. From there he was rude, belligerent, condescending, and loud. When asked to speak to a supervisor he said he was the supervisor. He claimed his name was ***, but when he called the phone number that came up was from a *** *** *** *** ***. The website that he was trying to let have remote access was ***. After telling him i was not interested and i hung up, he continued to call over and over again harassing me about my decision.
