Type of a scam Online Purchase
I’ve been looking for a puppy for my family. I came across this website: winkle-pugpuppieshome.com. the website looked legit and had a lot of information. So I emailed and asked for details. As the emails exchanged I continued to ask for contact information. Their website has no contact info other than an email address. I was asked by them to complete a wire transfer to purchase the puppy. Not feeling comfortable sending a stranger money without confirming who they are I asked for an address and skme type of proof to confirm who I was dealing with. He instantly got defensive and claimed I should just trust him because of his religion. Eventually he sent me an address, a quick search showed this is a house for sale and the owners nAme did not match the person I was talking to. The man attempted to make me feel bad for not trusting him and continued to insist on me completing the wire transfer. He continued to refuse to provide any confirming information about who he is. He claimed once he received the wire transfer he would ship the puppy within two days.
