Type of a scam Counterfeit Product

Receive an e-mail from a recruiter named Brad Steele saying he is a recruiting specialist. Says one of his clients is in the final stages of acquiring a mid sized company in your industry… and asks you to send a resume if interested. If you send a resume he will say it does not parse correctly in ATS and to contact an ATS website who can make it compatible.

They are just trying to steal peoples information. When it was requested that I had to use a specific firm to make my resume ATS compatible it seemed quite odd. Then when I looked into the website it was obvious, no phone #, incorrect spelling and a virtual address
