Type of a scam Employment
I was emailed an opportunity from Amanda Scott at the 213 483-9882 telephone number. She had me signed documents and send a copy of my drivers license to her organization. The base salary was 1700 with 20 per package sent out. I was receiving the packages and I do have receipts that they were sent. She kept in touch with me via email, phone and thru the virtual office. Today I was to receive my first pay from this company and noticed that I was notable to get into the portal any more as of today July 1. I have left messages on her voicemail but to no avail she did not respond. I blocked my number and called again. As soon as she heard my voice she hung up. Tried on different numbers and the same thing happened. My daughter looked up the number and it showed several people dealt with this also. I thought I DoD my homework on this organization but I have been scammed. Trying to get some attention to have this stopped. I am not sure what can be done with my drivers license but I need to know what is my next step to protect my identity.
