Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Initially text me about a secret shopper position. Received a letter in the mail with a large cashier’s check and instructions on how to split the money into reloadit packs. Before knowledge of this being a scam, I contacted the company and told them we didn’t have those cards in my area. They quickly responded with an alternative card. By then, I had done research on the BBB looking for this company only to find many others were being scammed by the same type of scam. In MY case, I still have the check and instructions. No deposit here.
