Type of a scam Phishing
A pop up appeared in my Chrome window stating mywindowshelp.net Error 268E3 and to call 855-260-3658 immediately as the information on my computer has been compromised including my Facebook login (I don’t have one), credit card information, bank account information, and email login. I have not logged into my bank account on my computer so this can only be a scam.
I am unable to provide a screen shot because I shut down my computer as I was not able to close out Chrome without addressing the pop up and have always been told NOT to click "OK" or even "Close" or "Cancel" on suspect pop ups such as this.
