Type of a scam Identity Theft
I continually receive text messages from "94298" advertising a new car loan for $99 down and $153 per month. There is a google short link that keeps going to: https://www.newcarsplus.com
I have replied ‘STOP’ multiple times without success. I have tried to send this as ‘SPAM’ to my wireless carrier (Verizon Wireless) but they are unable to block this since it is not from a real phone number. I am unable to find a number on their web-site to call.
I think someone has used my phone number and submitted information (to various places on the web) for new loans and/or home ownership. This "company" seems suspect as there is no easy way to contact them (other than providing additional information like my email address to them on their online contact form). I would just like this to stop.
