Type of a scam Charity
Received a call from a man stating he was calling about fallen officers etc. Would I like to donate? I told him only by mail, send me something . He told me have a good day and to feel free to look at their website www.policesupport.org . I looked it up and it mentions one county ( he never mentioned it). I’ve never heard of the county! The site has one picture that I’m sure was easily gotten off the internet. In the menu you can hit events , it mentions one event in this county. There’s no address . But you can hit donate and send money with your credit card etc. There’s no way this site or organization is real.
