Type of a scam Online Purchase
I live in UAE but I came to USA for a visit. I ordered a pair of shoes on 22/12/2017 from a canadian site www.thegalways.ca .
Since they accept by canadian dollars or US dollars I thought they are a canadian website that deliver to USA. however , I found the tracking information that I received through e-mail showing that the shoes is shipped from China. I received it on 1/24/2018 ,after 1 whole month from placing the order. But the shoes are cheap non-branded shoes. not the one I ordered. I ordered Geox shoes but I received cheap no-brand pair. When I sent them e-mail on [email protected] , they said they are a third party and they will tell the seller to contact me. But the seller sent me e-mail from "smith amy " and they told me that this a mistake but they can’t refund me except 10% and they don’t have the shoes I ordered so they sent me a similar one. When I asked them for the total amount since this is not what I ordered , they said 10% or nothing and if I don’t like the shoes I can sell it to someone else but they will not refund.
