Type of a scam Online Purchase

After advertising my used car for sale on various websites (Craigslist, Cars.com, etc.) I was contacted four different times by four different people to purchase a vehicle history report. The scammers contact you via email or text message to tell you they are interested in purchasing your vehicle, but need you to purchase a vehicle history report from a specific site. In a matter of 48 hours, I had four of these scammers contact me! Unbelievable. I already had a vehicle history report, but they weren’t interested in the one I had, which made me immediately suspicious. I had multiple people reach out for www.vincheckpro.info and another that requested one from vinnlookup.com. They all have slightly different messages: "This report was recommended to me by my brother who is a car dealer." or "My friend is a mechanic and recommended this report." Most of the messages have bad grammar and typos, which also is a red flag. They communicate that they are very interested in the car, but need to see this very specific vehicle history report before moving any further.
