We found a 69 Chevelle SS on Racing Junk website and contacted the seller for purchase. After a week of communication and details of the vehicle, the seller directed us to use his transport service to complete the transaction. George Lias emailed us a bill of sale and other documents to sign after accepting the vehicle. We were told we would have 7 days to inspect and either accept or reject the vehicle. If we rejected it for any reason we would receive a full refund. We wired the money from our bank to his then all communication ended. We could not get back in contact with George or the original seller, Roger Cooper. Barry Fgordon, from Menomonee Falle WI, was the name on the original ad and is who we spoke with initially, but when the contract came over the seller’s name changed to Roger Cooper. That should have been enough of a red flag but we proceeded with the wire transfer. The website is gone and all phone numbers disconnected. We are devastated! No reports of fraud or alerts were available on line until the week after our transaction. These people are smart. They have done this numerous times under different company names, close shop and change names before any fraud is detected.

I found a Siler 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass SX Convertible with the black rally strips on the hood for 11K. I click onto the US Classifieds4all like a left my info. Next day i was email and sent pictures of the vehicle and was redirected by the person who suppose to be the owner of this vehicle to Wyegate Transport. After speaking to George at Wyegate Transport I was instructed to make a wire transfer in the amount of $11k. Once I made the payment I received confirmation that the car will be delivered to my house 3/01/2019. Three day before the car was suppose to be delivered I tried contacting both parties which I got no response so I starting investigate only to find out that I was scammed. Today I revisited the website out of curiosity and found out the same car is still listed online for sale but this crook have the car location in another state.

The consumer alleges the seller informed him he was out of the country and had contracted with Wyegate Transport to act as the intermediary in the transaction. The consumer was then instructed to go to the website, Wyegate transport.com and register. Once registered the consumer was told the seller would initiate the transfer. After registering as instructed, the consumer alleges George Lias from Wyegate Transport contacted him by email and phone to inform him he would send the Bill of Sale and Purchase Contract for him to sign. Once the consumer signed the agreements, he would send the wiring instructions. Once the consumer wired the full purchase amount to Wyegate Transport, the money would remain in escrow and the car would be shipped. The consumer was told he would have seven days to inspect the car and if he found the car was misrepresented or not to his expectations Wyegate would pick up the car at no extra charge and refund the full amount of the purchase price.

This is the car I paid 13,200.00 money wire for, and never received.

I did a wire transfer on Feb. 14th and received a phone call George Lias on Feb 15th saying the car would be here on Friday the 22nd. Never to be heard from again, Have called several times, answers with leave a message.

Also this ad has a different location then the ad I responded to. The location was Dothan Al. Not CA.

My story is identical to the other provided for Wyegate Transport, except the listed vehicle was a 1967 Ford Mustang GT350. Scammer used the alias Roger Cooper and provided numerous photos of the bogus vehicle. Buyer beware.

The same story as described in the two previous reports. Seller was a person named Kate Leone who worked overseas for Feeding America, a non-profit. We did extensive research on Wyegate and also on Kate Leone. We checked the ScamPulse.com website a couple weeks ago and there was nothing noted. We wired the money for deposit on the classic car, then heard nothing more. We now know we’ve been scammed.

Type of a scam Counterfeit Product

I was looking for a classic car and found one online for a very low amount, and thought it is "too good to be true". Seller, posing as Kasia Kieli who is an actual person and I am sure NOT involved as Ms. Kieli is an esteemed professional. So this scam is both Counterfeit Product as well as Identity Theft. After email communications, the fake K. Kieli advised me to go online and register with Wyegate Transport and the transaction will begin. Upon registering and continuous digging around, I found that both the seller and Wyegate are frauds. Please, DO NOT wire ANY money to Wyegate Transport.

I was interested in a vehicle advertised online… requested contact from owner for possible purchase. Last week at usclassifieds4all.com viewed and made contact request.

This week on Monday, I received an e-mail from the supposed owner [email protected] E-mail exchange ensued as follows below. An offer too good to refuse, free shipping, easy return, no risk….

Hello Axxx,

All that you have to pay is the agreed price of $7,400.00, nothing extra.

To be able to start this transaction you need to register on the shipping company’s website:

https://wyegatetransport.com

After the registration is complete please contact me to start the transaction.

Thank you,

Hello Kasia,

I an ready to complete the transaction at 7,400 USD… how would you like to receive payment?

Regarding the shipping, my address is as follows:

Oxxxx, XX 12345

Regarding fees, would I need to pay anything ?

Normally, I would just have a road tractor / trailer show up and the load the vehicle and bring it directly to me… fairly economical.

Thanks,

Hello Axxx,

The car is being sold as described, clear title, no mechanical or electrical issues, always kept in garage. The car is ready for the road. I am working overseas with Discovery Networks Central and I won’t return until June 2019.

The car is located in state of Washington crated and ready to go. The car will come with clear title, two sets of keys, manuals and some service history records. The car belonged to my father who recently passed away. He was the second owner. Because my time is very important and I don’t have other alternatives, a shipping company is the best choice for us. They will protect both of us in this transaction and will take care of the entire sale process from payment, shipping, title transfer service or/and (if needed) returns and refunding. Because the inspection is not possible the company will give you 7 days for inspection period from the moment you receive the car at your location. During this time you can check the car with your mechanic. If by any reason the vehicle doesn’t meet your expectation the company will refund your money in 2-3 business days and the shipping back will be my concern. Basically, it’s similar to buying a car locally, the money will be sent to their holding account, and they will keep the money until you will receive the car. If you are a serious buyer, I can ship it anywhere in United States with no extra cost for you.

If you want to move forward please contact me back so we can get the ball rolling.

PS: I’ve attached more pictures. Please check..

Just let me know so we can close the deal.

Thanks,

Hello Kasia,

Thanks for your e-mail. I was afraid I wouldn’t hear back from anyone, as the site provided no info.

Regarding the 1965 Continental, what is not working on the vehicle, and has there been any rust or accident damage? As well, in the moment, does the vehicle run and drive?

Also, where is the vehicle that I could meet you, have a look, drive it and make a deal?

Thanks,

Axxx

Type of a scam Online Purchase

Several weeks ago I inquired online about the availability of a classic car (’52 MG TD) that was shown for sale on the "US Classifieds4All" (https://usclassifieds4all.com/details.php?id=1061) website. After a week or two I received a response from the Email address used by the Scammer listed above. The proposition was that since the individual selling the car was out of country working with National Geographic as a marine biologist that if I wanted to buy the car that the whole transaction would be handled through the Wyegate Transport business listed at the Scammer Website listed above. Also that the car was crated and couldn’t be inspected until it was delivered, however I was to have 7 days to inspect the car and if I wasn’t satisfied with it, it could returned at the seller’s expense. At the time it seemed quite unusual and I responded that I would have to have some assurance that the car was indeed stored at that location and that it was a legitimate business. Several E-mail correspondence went on with me inquiring about certain aspects of the car and it’s condition. After having been unable to find out anything on the Wygate Transport company other than it’s website shown above, and having contacted the Spokane, WA ScamPulse.com which has no record of the company I have realized that the whole thing is a Scam. Hope you will be able to check it out and possibly do something to stop this Scam. However, it will be up to you to verify that it is a Scam – I just believe that it is. Would appreciate knowing the results of your investigation.
