I am working with a legitimate company called Zoek out of California. They are an IOS company. I got call from someone claiming to be from the Zoek company and they had all my confidential information like my new domain name, when I signed up, the special pricing I got, etc. They said they needed to charge me a one time "activation fee" of $9.95. They gave me the Zoek phone number, my new Zoek website (which was real), a fake Zoek email of "[email protected] As GoZoek.com is the real company’s website, everything sounded legit. I gave them my credit card number, but instead of charging me the $9.95, they charged me $49.95 and continue to charge this each month. I contacted Zoek and they told me they had had several other clients get scammed by someone claiming to be them and they said they had on "ongoing investigation" trying to find out who these people were. I have reported the fraud to my credit card company, got issued a new card, but they still keep charging my new card.
