Type of a scam Online Purchase
I received an email saying my cad would be automatically billed $496.55 if did not call to cancel. I called and the gentleman tried to have me transferred so I could answer a form to get the cancellation refund. After questioning him about why he could not mail me the form and asking questions about what the equipment was in the first place, he eventually told me to "Go [censored] Yourself" and slammed down the phone. I was suspicious that Best Buy would never do this strange request or say that! What is scary is that someone may have agreed to be transferred to get the refund and given their credit card or personal information. The phone numbers are listed and they will answer. Thank you!
