Type of a scam Romance

I was talking to a couple of girls online and then eventually through text, after a while they decided they wanted to meet up. The only problem is that they had AdvertSAFE cards and I didn’t. They told me I need to have one if they were going to meet up with me, they also told me the process to get it (now I realize they were most likely not real and they worked for AdvertSAFE the whole time). After much hesitation I finally decided to go through with it. I went to CVS and sent a money gram to Francis Darrelle Bulaon in the Philippines as designated. About 3 hours after that, I got an email saying the money had been received. Not long after that the agent from Advertsafe emailed me and said they couldn’t approve my application because there were two "Tyler Ferm"s and one had a serious criminal background. This immediately set off alarm bells, I know my last name and first name are pretty uncommon and the likely-hood of another Tyler Ferm with a criminal background in the US was minimal at best. So I decided to talk to a friend who works for a police department, my friend was able to run background checks all across the Us for "Tyler Ferm" and none of them had a criminal background (at this point I knew it was an absolute scam). After explaining this to the agent, he gave me one option, pay him another 300 dollars to push the application through (SCAM) or forfeit the money I had already sent them. Needless to say, I was pretty unhappy, there was no way I was going to send these scam artist any more money, I told them that I would be reporting the to the BBB, FTC, and anyone else who would listen. At this point he told me that because I had threatened them that they would be voiding my application and keeping my money. All in all, I’m out 150 bucks which sucks, but won’t kill me. Ultimately my goal now is to try and do anything I can to make sure these frauds don’t get another dime from an innocent person. I have text threads from the girls and an assortment of emails from the agent, if they would help provide better context, I’d be happy to send them. Thank you for your time and any help you may offer, have a great day.
