We contacted Home Depot (home depot.com) for assistance on home repair, and they forwarded our name and # to this individual, Benjamin Rodriguez. Turns out he has a scam where he comes to the home, provides a quote, then when work is done bills more than double the amount of the quote claiming extra work needed to be done and extra time involved, without getting the amount of the bill approved beforehand. He then goes to great lengths attempting to harass and intimidate, trolling the internet for contact information of the parties involved, presuming that you’ll pay him his inflated bill.
