My daughter purchased a female BH from this kennel. No mention that for $1,450 she didnt get breeding rights. Registration papers didnt arrive. Multiple attempts to contact . Letters, phone, e-mail. I finally got involved thru email. Long story short, $550 later we got full registratioin papers. Great dog, not so good operators!

We were able to call and talk to someone very informative about buying a 6 week old blue heeler puppy. They did a Facebook live video of a few puppies they had for sale and you put a deposit down on the puppy you wanted to pick up at a later date. After paying the deposit electronically, we then had no response from seller after several attempts to contact. They said they lost their phone and had to get a new one. I found a new number to call on their Facebook page and finally got a response after about 7 days. We were finally contacted 12 days after we had put a deposit down and first attempted to make contact by the same informative person we had spoken to originally, but it was always a pre-arranged time to talk. I would try to call and no answer. Following the phone call I would try to text and we would text back and forth in which I would ask them to call right then, they wouldn’t, they would only say, we will call you tomorrow.

We tried to arrange delivery of the dog, was told the shipper would meet me 6 days later for a set price. After several texts where they told me steep shippings costs, I asked for the shipper’s phone to try to set it up directly with them. After 4 days of trying to get in contact with seller for shipper’s contact info, several attempts to call and text, I was then told the shipper wasn’t working the rest of the month. I asked the seller to call me, as we were texting back and forth, and they refused. I asked for a refund and they refused.

After some further checking, we realized this “company” has changed names several times in the last few years. They aren’t listed under this name in BBB, but are listed under Burnt Kerosene Kennels instead, which is an old name they had listed on Facebook, but used the same address they are currently using with Merica’s Blue Heelers. Their grade was an F in ScamPulse.com under this previous name. They also had previous websites listed on the FaceBook page for their previous business and none of those websites work any longer. In the midst of attempting to contact the seller I posted a polite comment on FB on a public forum, as well as several private messages, asking them to contact me for shipping of the dog and that I’d been having trouble reaching them. One person commented that the Facebook page was a scam after my comment, both have since been deleted in the last 24 hours. No one can leave a negative comment or post a review on their Facebook page or their website. They control everything and nothing can be said that is negative because it will be deleted. There is no where to rate the business and the business has not completed the Facebook requirements to confirm it is a legitimate business. When we finally asked the seller for a refund, when all other efforts to get the dog failed, we were told it was not refundable. We told them we’d be getting in touch with our credit card company about them and they told us it was a crime and tried very strongly to discourage us from pursuing with our credit card company for fraud. Our credit card company said that in their opinion we most definitely have a dispute and have already credited us back our money back while they are currently investigating the situation. We were out our $425 deposit on the dog but since we were refunded by our credit card company since we did not receive the dog, so we aren’t technically out any money any longer. The credit card company also advised us to complete this review, which is why I’m doing this.
