Type of a scam Phishing
A woman identifying herself as Shirley Miller called and left a vmail on my daughters phone, saying please call them to discuss the terms of paying back her "student loan", which she has none (she is a starting college freshman in one week). She left a phone #, so I called it and they have an answering center – a man answered my call and when asked he said the company name is "FSS Enrollment Center". I could not find it; he said it’s listed on BBB, so I searched and told him I still could find it on ScamPulse.com either.
I asked what they do, and he said they help you with your student loan, on how to repay it, or how to get it reduced or something like that. It sounds like one of those centers that negotiates past due loans in exchange for money. But my main concern is the company name does not exist on any internet search nor on BBB.
