Type of a scam Phishing
Numerous phone calls from this company, from what I could understand, I believe the man said that the business’ name was "Healthy Edge". EVERY time I’ve asked to be removed from their list, another call comes in, same company, phone digit is off by just a few numbers in sequence. This last call (5-19-16…1145am), I kept asking where the company was based out of, and he said Burden, Ks (where I live) and I asked where the building was as I could walk there (Burden is an extremely small town of about 500 people – downtown is vacant) because I knew he was lying on company based location. He stumbled on his words and I asked for an address again…. he said he couldn’t divulge where company was located. I said "why?" He said he just couldn’t tell me. I kept pushing for information, and he hung up. When calling any of the numbers listed I gave, it says we could leave a voicemail, but they’ve got the numbers rigged to where it says "voicemail is full" and couldn’t leave a message.
This company has a number out of Texas as well! That number is: 713-357-6438. Same situation when trying to leave voicemail, says there’s no room and same situation of trying to get removed from calling list.
I’d like to know how this can get stopped, as it’s really annoying!!!! I can only imagine if they’re targeting the elderly and getting them to buy whatever they’re selling… I’m constantly worried for my folks as they’ve been targeted for many scams similar to this.
