Person’s name is: (I thought he said JIM) John White (aka Chapman) along with his wife Trena White. Was asked to deposit money into a Woodforest bank account under Trena’s name also gave account number. Once I received this information I checked them out on Google and found a lawsuit against these same people in Ohio, Case #CI0201504128–look up either John Lee Chapman or Trena White. They have you deposit money into their account, hire subcontractors and then don’t pay the subcontractors or have the work done completely. (all in case in Ohio paperwork) Same MO here. NEVER met the person, never came to the house, everything was done over our cell phones, wanted me to deposit money into the account and then work would begin in a week, generic contract, no business address, talks fast. I did not sign the contract because of too many ‘red flags’. Do not want anyone else to fall prey to this scam like I almost did, and those in Ohio who did.
