Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
I received a robocall stating that, “As a Hilton Rewards Member, I was selected for a free stay”. If I was interested, to press “1”.
I did, and the phone transferred me to a foreign person who asked if I was over the age of 25, to which I replied “yes”. I was promptly put back on hold with no more conversation or follow up.
The phone number that I received the call from was listed as a local mobile telephone number with supposed low fraud risk.
