Type of a scam Phishing
An individual claiming to be from the IRS left a message on our answering machine, on 9/1/16. The call originated from a cell number in Spokane, WA. He goes on to threaten us with a lawsuit and doesn’t even mention a name. He goes on to say that we had better return the call immediately to avoid any further action taken on their part. And the strange thing was as threatening us with a lawsuit, he never mentioned any name at all, our or his. Just said call back ASAP. He called at least 3 different times. When we returned the call, the number was disconnected.
