Type of a scam Tax Collection
A man called me (Spanish accent) and said his name was Dennis Quaid. He said he was calling about an enforcement action connected with the U.S. Treasury and that I was to call him back to avoid being arrested and sent before a magistrate or grand jury. I called him and he said it was about unpaid taxes for the year 2010. He said that he was instructing law enforcement agents to come to my home and arrest me for not paying the taxes and then he asked if I had any questions. I said no because I knew it was a scam of some kind. The number he had me call was 678-276-7161.
