we have received approx. 15 phone calls from this number in past 4 days. Leaving a message that we paid them $299 in Nov of 2018 and they want to reimburse us because they say the federal government has told them they must.close their business. They want me to go online to their site which I have not. Did speak to them on phone where they called their company" I tech" saying they put a Windows Defender on our computer and the government have required them to take it off and reimburse. No recall of paying this amount and the phone calls do not stop. only answered 1 time.

A woman with a heavy accent called from an anonymous number asking for someone with my surname and was able to identify/ask for me by my name. They told me my computer had been sending out malware over the past few weeks. When questioned, they said they were calling from a company called iTech which provides computer services. I recognized it as a scam, told them I was not interested and hung up.

Received an invoice, with my name and printer information, for some toner in the amount of $1,220.96. I know we receive our toner from one company and this was incorrect, so I called the number, but had to leave a message and never received a return phone call. A couple of days later they contacted our accounting dept wanting payment and said they were sending a $100 gift reward.

Received an invoice from an unauthorized vendor who we neither placed an order with or received supplies from. Jackie Grant called and was persistent that the invoice was valid. The invoice was for 2 Xerox Workcentre 7535 Supplies- which are obtained through the vendor we lease the Xerox from. There was also a 22.98 premium freight charge for a total of $1,220.96.

The scam lists supplies I would potentially get from CBS which is a xerox company we do business with for our copier. I called CBS and they are not affiliated with them at all.We have a contract with CBS so I would absolutely never reach out to anyone else. I’ve never heard of iTech before until now that I’ve received this fake invoice. I searched them on Yelp and it seems everyone has received the same thing. This fake invoice is for $1,220.96.

Received a fake invoice for Hewlett Packard Laserjet supplies. I might have thought about paying it but we have a leasing contract for our printers so we never pay for supplies. See image attached for the invoice.

Was sent a mail invoice for a qty of 2 "Office Supplies" of nearly $600 each, plus a $22 shipping fee. Invoice showed our customer number as 9999 and showed the agreement was verbal. Employee has no recollection of speaking with either iTech or OKI Tech, the companies showing charges on the invoice, and no shipments of supplies have been received in the past month, where the invoice would’ve been valid. The scammers appear to be targeting disconnected companies, since the invoice is meant to be passed immediately to Accounts Payable.\

Our business buys all minor supplies local, and has a very small number of employees, which helped us root out the scam. See attached image for more detail.

We received an invoice from the above for $1220.96. Billing us for "supplies" for our copier and freight for the supplies. I called to try to resolve, could never get anyone on the phone. We did receive a call from Cynthia Smith looking for payment of the invoice. I explained to her that we didn’t order or receive the product and that we were not paying the invoice. She verified my name, then said she would cancel the invoice and gave me a confirmation # of the cancellation.

A few days ago, the company I work for received a bill supposedly for the services Konica Minolta. The strange about it, was send and we had to be paid to a third company that we have never heard of. I contacted Konica Minalta with which we work very often and I informed that this bill has nothing to do with Konica Minolta and that probably our company is a victim of scam. Then I called the actual company "iTech" which sent this "bill". I had to leave a voice mail the first time I contacted them. Within an hour I received a call back. The customer representative said that the letter is not a bill but they were just trying to contact us and verify information. The person on the phone constantly was trying to ask me questions about the company – verifying the address of the company, transferring them to upper management. I did not do any of this, instead, I was asking them questions. I was not give any information about the letter "bill" the company I work for received. It was too obvious that it is a scam. As a result, I would like to report this wrong-doing. I hope the needed actions will be taken. I have attached a photo of the front of the received letter from "iTech".

They called again asking for the AP Dept. now they have our email address and AP person name in charge and are asking for them by name, and want to get the invoice paid.

we have got call to our office that they are confirming if we have received invoice from them. They have our A/P contact info. We have received both e-mail and USPS invoice. Fortunately, we have a contract with our printer company for free supply. So we have contacted the company and found out there is nothing related with them. So they are just trying to get payment. But they know what equipment we have for somehow.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

I was contacted by phone from a "Dell Representative" to confirm what model of printer we had and they are offering a $100 gift card for being a customer. I confirmed the model of printer.

A couple months later, we received the attached invoice and they’ve been calling us for payment. They said we ordered 2 CRATES of toner, and chasing payment. We are an office of 3 people, so would never order this. However, I can see how this invoice could sail through an Accounts Payable department in a very large company and them collect payment.

Also, you are never able to reach anyone if you call their office number, you always have to leave a message on a 1980’s robotic answering machine. However, I emailed Cynthia about paying the invoice, and she contacted me immediately.

As they list freight charges on the invoice, I would request proof of shipment and confirmation on shipment delivery on any invoice they collected money on. This shipping confirmation would then have to be verified by the shipping company but investigated the shipping company to verify credibility as well. I also don’t see a business tax number on the invoice.
