Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
The business was proposing to pay one to have company logo decals professionally placed on one’s vehicle. Further research has shown other have fallen for this scam where a very realistic but fake check is sent as the first weeks pay and the remainder is for the alleged professional to apply the decals. From what I’ve read from others the hope is that the check and cut of the money for the assigned professional all happen in a shorter time frame than the bank is able to detect the fraudulent check.
