Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

The person emailed and texted me from Market Surveys Inc saying that I was chosen to conduct surveys for Walmart. What it said was that I would be given $2,250 dollars to go to Walmart and buy four gift cards, blue or green, in the amount of $400 dollars and then take a picture and send it to the survey coordinator, David Sapin. The remaining amount was what I could have supposedly kept after buying the gift cards. The letter heading reads: ACTIONABLE INTELLIGENCE DELIVERY. The email on the letter is R E P O R T @ S U R V R E P O R T S . C O M. This obviously is a scam.

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I received an email through my college email address saying that they were looking for college students to conduct surveys on stores like Walmart and Apple for 200 dollars a completed survey. I clicked on it, and it brought me to another page where I put in my information including my name, address and personal email address. On the page where I put my information in, it said they would be conducting me for a interview, this never happened. Instead, two weeks later I received an envelope in the mail containing a 1,950 dollar check, and a letter with instructions on it. The instructions wrote to go to an Apple Store, and purchase two Apple gift cards with 800 dollars on each one. If I completed this survey within 48 hours, I would receive a 100 dollar bonus on top of the 200 dollars that I would earn from doing the survey. It also says to send a clear picture of the back of the gift cards, and the report to [email protected], a different email address from prior. What is also very suspicious about this is that on the top of the letter it states to "send a text soon as you receive your packet and/or deposit is made so funds are made available to you".
