Type of a scam Online Purchase
So this guy claimed to be a CEO who was overseas and needed help from someone to shop for him. He said he’d mail me a check and then I’d shop for him and mail him the products. When pressed for details, he flip flopped and said I should open up my payment app or something, then seemed confused as to what I meant by “physical mail” (as opposed to email) he called me and as soon as I mentioned that this sounded like a scam, he mumbled some version of “no scam! How dare you!” And hung up
