Pop up appears saying that "Your credit card and personal information is being sent over the internet. Please call the number on the screen and a technical advisor will talk you through how to block this from happening." It then locks up the screen so you can’t stop it without rebooting the computer. When you call the number on the screen, they try to get you to open up a website – www.cbttr.com – which they use to access the computer. They then inform you that your computer is infected and they will remove the infected ad/malware once you pay them a fee for doing so.
