Type of a scam Employment
Received a legit looking interview offer. I’m on a job hunt so my resume has been sent all over! So when I received an email about an interview- no red flags went up. Even when I was told it would be via Google hangouts. The job offer wasn’t sent to me until the interview process began so I had no time thoroughly investigate. Once interviewed and notified that the job was being offered I accepted and signed a employment drafting letter. Which basically stated the basics and whatnot. As I was learning about the company on the website- I noticed the company says you must be able to work and live in Australia to be considered for employment. Then I started to look for the potential application sent out to this company and I noticed I hadn’t sent one.
