Type of a scam Phishing
Caller said I used their website to get a quote on car insurance. Asked me about my name, how many cars I have had, had I had any dui filings, and asked if I wanted to save money on auto insurance. (I answered and I had made 20 different car insurance phone calls so it didn’t seem like a scam till later). Then he said he would transfer me to an agent which is typical, but then the call changed the woman answered the phone and said hello can you hear me, the man said we are here, I wasn’t thinking and said quickly yes, hi. Then I realized that it was the scam from the news because she said we aren’t getting a good connection can you hear me. I realized what she wanted and I hung up. I just wanted to report it.
