consumer saw employment ad on Facebook- work at home scheme. Customer service rep or call center rep. They got your DOB, your online checking account passwords and username, routing and checking. Home address and phone number. Email and use Hangout to communicate. They mailed a check via fed-ex for $3470 for the purchase of an apple computer to only be purchased from a vendor were going to provide her at a later time. They also you an iphone x- when the check did not go thru. The consumer tried to deposit check via her online banking mobile and it would not clear. The address the company provided was Duquesne Light Company address in Pittsburgh and the check was from Duquesne Light Company. Consumer report this to Duquesne Light via the number on the ScamPulse.com profile. They requested the check and letter be fax to them for review. The consumer also email the bbb a copy of the check and letter. They also wanted her to open a new checking account.
