On July 13, 2017 at 5:23 PM I received an email from a "James" stating I had to call 844 628 4981 because my computer was going to shut down. As I did not want to be without my computer, I called the 844-628-4981, I talked to James who took control of my computer. I was directed to several sites. James claimed that this was Google Chrome so I would not be locked out. James then asked for $50.00 for Google Chrome. I told James that I did not have the money and he would need to wait 3 weeks. James stated he would call me on the 28th of July. I did not provide James with any credit card or banking information or SSN.
