Type of a scam Online Purchase
Hello,
I am from Canada and was scammed by a company that is running its operation out of Ireland.
They used a false picture of our Costco department store and offered free samples if I provided them with an online questionnaire and that the only charges would be shipping fee for the samples.
I agreed, thinking this was a ligitmate Canadian company. However, they not only charged me multiple shipping fees, they also charged me hundreds of U.S. dollars for this so called sample.
I contacted them and they told me that it was a trial version and not free samples, and refused to reverse the charges they had made.
I contacted Costco, who knows nothing of this company. I also contacted my bank, who told me that the charges were coming from some company in Ireland.
The 2 samples were "Final Skincare anti-wrinkle cream" and "SkinFlow anti-aging serum". both samples were only 1 oz.
