Type of a scam Credit Cards
At 2:09 pm March 15,2018 from phone number 1-404-844-1000. A woman calling herself Lisa Jones with the agent number TP0605, saying she was from Union Plus MasterCard and that she could lower our interest rate down to 0 % up to 6%. She had all our information, including the first couple numbers of our credit card. My husband and I relayed to her that we were nervous about giving her any information. She promised that is was all good and gave us this number 1-800-847-2911. That someone from Union Plus MasterCard would verify that everything was on the up and up. We gave her the rest of our credit card numbers believing she was who she said she was. She put us on hold and when she came back she said she could not help us because we had way to many fraudulent against our credit card. We realized she was not who she said she was. We immediately told her we knew this was fraud and that we were going to call someone. We called the number on the back of our credit card and talked to a Michele who proceed to freeze our cards and issued us new ones. And told us to write this email and to call ScamPulse.com and law enforcement.
