I was interested in purchasing a puppy, I did research and came across Unitedlabradors.com. The dogs were very cute and the prices were reasonable (not too low/high) for dog adoption. After contacting the individual via email I did not suspect anything. They asked valid questions pertaining dog adoption and had all the information in line. He asked for my name, address, and email for shipping information. After I sent over the 650.00 for the puppy and puppy shipping he said the shipping company would be in contact. When the “shipping” company contacted me they stated they needed a 980.00 deposit which 950.00 would be returned *in cash* upon arrival of the dog. Ridiculous, after researching the “international phone number” provided for their shipping company, Route Shippers, I realized this was indeed a scam and they were trying to convince me to send more money. I looked up the phone number provided and realized they had been scamming other individuals with various website addresses for dog adoption. I messaged the “seller” and said I was uncomfortable with how business was being done and I would like a refund, no where stated no refunds. I requested a refund through cash app which is the app I used to send the money. He said he would refund my money if I cancelled the request for refund. He never refunded my money and stopped replying to his email.
