Type of a scam Debt Collections
I was left a recorded voicemail about an ‘enforcement action’ filed by the US Treasury Dept ‘against your name’. I was told to call back this number or I will be open to legal enforcement actions such as garnishment of wages, arrest, or more.
I have already learned this is a scam (same thing happened 10 years ago and I was SO close to paying them) so I called them back and played around with them for a little bit. They are in another country, I think India.
