Type of a scam Tax Collection
I thought i was on www.irs.gov and was not. Started doing my tax return and only noticed it was irs.com when they sent me an email for confirmation of my payment for doing my tax return. I logged out and got off the website when they wanted driver’s license information. Unfortunately, I did pay 34.99 from a debit card. I don’t have much information on the company besides the website address and the email address. My bank said the payment came out of Las Vegas, Nevada. I went straight to my bank and told them, closed my account and they will send me paperwork to get my money back. I have also reported this on another consumer protection website.
