Type of a scam Debt Collections
My sister received a call from 855-277-9742 on her landline (which is ***) stating that this agency was trying to find me. I immediately googled the # and discovered it is a scam. I called and was immediately threatened that I would be arrested. I asked for a Debt Validation Notice per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and was told that the officers would give me that information while I sit in the back of the cop car. I was told I am crazy. I was told "We have all your personal information…Social, Address, Date of Birth and we will use it against you.’ This is harassment and a scam. It needs to end. They are involving my family members and they are making threats.
