Type of a scam Online Purchase
I was sent an email saying I’d won $100 gift from ***. I was told to choose my product from 4 or 5 products. When I I clicked on Vita Trim it said all I had to pay for was shipping of $4.95.
I received Vita Trim and something called Clean Core Cleanse. No paperwork was included with product. When I got my credit card bill, it showed they charged me $5.95 for Vita Trim and $4.95 for Cleanse. They also charged me $89.95 for the Vita Trim and $85.95 for the Cleanse.
When I called them they would not credit my account and said I had agreed to a subscription, which I never did. I asked to speak to supervisor. Cindy said I agreed to subscription, I asked her to provide me with the paper that showed where I agreed to this and she said she couldn’t. I told her to cancel my subscription and credit my account. She said she couldn’t credit my account, but previous gal I spoke with had closed my subscriptions. Then Cindy & I exchanged words and she agreed to credit my credit card back 50%. So she said she made the credit of total of $88 in two credits.
I asked for a physical address of the customer service and she said she can’t give that info out, but instead gave me a physical address of a warehouse.
This is a total SCAM. I want to report them to someone. I’ll see if they credit my account or not. All of the charges on my credit account had different phone numbers and different company names other than Vita Trim and Clean Core Cleanse. Cindy told me those were the company names I had subscribed to.
