My wife use the site to order her birth certificate, the site asked for 47.00 for payment of what we thought would be her birth certificate. My debit card was used to pay for it. Afterward, we got a form with her basic info on it and another form that tells her what documents to sent to the vital records office in PA, and tells her that she now has to pay an additional 20.00 to get her birth certificate. The so-called company only has an email address as a point of contact.

I wanted to order my birth certificate and the first website that popped up was vitalrecordsonline. I had no idea these scams were out there.
I filled out the form including my credit card for payment. They promised expedited shipping and when I was done it brought me to a preprinted form to fill out and mail to the vital records office in which I should include my payment! I just paid with my credit card. They took $90 for 2 copies and basically sent me a preprinted form, that’s it! There is no customer service number. Just a contact form. I also got an email saying my order was complete. Ive emailed them twice asking for a refund and have heard nothing. DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!! ORDER DIRECTLY FROM THE GOVERNMENT WEBSITE OF THE STATE YOU WERE BORN
