Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was selling an item on Craigslist for $700. The scammer texted me interesting in the item and planned to send a cashiers check. When I received the check it was for $1850. I was supposed to cash the check and give the extra money to the "Walmart to Walmart" employee that is picking up the item for their payment. When I went to the bank to verify the check, it turned out to be a fake cashiers check so I ended up not losing any money.
