Type of a scam Employment

Just as others have described, I was first contacted by text. Next I was directed to Google Hangout for a "Overview and Interview." I asked for a video chat and was told that the interview is only through the Google Hangout. After the interview, which was conducted through a chat session, I was told my resume would be reviewed and to be on-line at 8 am the next morning. When I went on line I was told I was hired at $59/Hr, 40 Hr. work week, full benefits and $10/Mile for my car usage. I was also offered full benefits.

Then they told me that they would send me a check and I was supposed to purchase Amazon cards to purchase a computer and software from specific vendors and they would install the software and ship me the computer. I was never told exactly what I would do.

I finally sent them another Google Hangout message saying "call me if this is not a scam and what is their EIN number. I have not heard back from them. I was also forwarded paperwork to fill out and to include my SS# and bank account number for direct deposit.

Wearable Technologies is a legitimate company and the hiring Manager is actually Johanna Mischke, BUT, this is not the actual person who is affiliated with this company. DONT GIVE SS# OR BANK ACCOUNT NUUMBER. Too good to be true!
